A Little Edge

Let me start out by being honest that I am not the most "edgy" of dressers (or people for that matter...ie mother of 4), but after I bought these boots the other day, I am kinda liking the whole idea of a little edginess.
Okay so I paired them with a cashmere turtleneck, not the edgiest of pieces but it was still a baby step for me :)
And I really was excited to transition these babies (also a fashion risk for me...) into fall.  They are a powder blue and white and I really wasn't sure they could go fall, but go they did.  You see, I'm a wild one:)
Here is the instagram picture of the day.  The boys had a break from school and we went to breakfast with Josh (please don't mind that Palmer spilled his drink on his shirt about 1.2 minutes after getting it...this is not a rare thing in our family).  We got these chocolate dipped gingerbread turkeys that were SO yummy.  I don't typically love gingerbread cookies, but these were soft and mild and just perfectly Thanksgiving-y.

  18. What a great combo! I have those same jeans and similar boots. I think that edginess works best when you are comfortable and not over the top. This look totally works and you have given me loads of inspiration for mine! Thanks!
