Neutral with a Pop

 Today was the best Mother's Day.  Josh went all out and truly made the day perfect.  He took me shopping yesterday (oh my goodness Jcrew Factory store...sale...so much fun!!) and then today he made me crepes for breakfast (his first time ever and they were so good!), cleaned the whole house, got the boys ready for church (serious big job), and then he invited all of his sisters and his mom over for dinner and made a HUGE, incredible dinner complete with homemade rolls, pot roast and all of the trimmings.  For dessert he made both brownies and chocolate chip cookies from scratch!!  Okay I just had to brag because it was the perfect day for me.  I have decided that Mother's Day is my new favorite holiday (and I have re-decided that my husband rocks). 
Okay, back to the neutrals with a pop...I also did another subtle pattern mix.  I love classic looks and feminine clothes, but it doesn't mean you can't add some fun trends in with them.

I also just wanted to post my favorite dress EVER that Kate Middleton has worn (a close second is this one).  This gorgeous dress is by Jenny Packham, and it is stunning.  The pictures are a bit blurry, but still so lovely.  I love Kate's taste in fashion and always feel that she is right on in what she chooses.  She is absolutely classy and elegant, two things every woman should be in my opinion :)

  26. That Kate Middleton dress is absolutely stunning! It's probably one of the most fashion forward things I've ever seen her wear. Typically she keeps those shoulders covered (a suggestion from the queen?) but I love this!
