Easter Dress

Every spring I start to look forward to Easter dress shopping.  Is there anything more fun than a dress in pastel colors (alright more fun would be pastels AND yards and yards of tulle, which I always secretly envy when I see them on 5 year olds, but for now I will be content with pastels)?
Can I also tell you that the next time you see a skinny yellow belt it should be a must buy!  I had no idea when I paid a mere $4.80 for this belt at Forever 21 that I would us it A TON!

Easter was such a beautiful wonderful day.  We headed to church which was wonderful and then came home for a wonderful dinner (that's a lot of "wonderful"), Easter egg hunt and homemade apple pie ala mode (which nobody ate but the hubs and me...it was from scratch people, all of it, and my boys wouldn't eat it...why do I try?  I should of given them Twinkies...)

Shirt: Gap | Sweater: Ann Taylor | Skirt: Jcrew | Heels: Aldo | Belt: Forever 21 | Jewelry: Jcrew

Our family all dressed up for church (the boys' sweaters are all from Gymboree).

I'm a new follower of yours actually :) I can't wait to see more of your posts! I adore your outfit. It's darling, and doesn't give off that negative "mom-ish" stereotype! Very cute. 17. I was lamenting the exact same thing on Instagram recently!! Whenever I make something that takes hours to make and is downright delicious, my kids will have NOTHING to do with it. In fact, I asked my Little Guy this weekend, "Why do you never like what I fix for dinner?!?" in frustration. And do you know what he said, "But momma, when you make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I like it." Crazy kids.

You and your family are absolutely beautiful!! I love your Easter outfits!

    1. Thanks Tiffany. I am so glad that I am not the only one that has picky kids :) My husband always tries to remind me that I make what I make for him and me too, but if feels lame when everyone doesn't like it. I guess I will keep cooking though, I am not eating peanut butter for every meal no matter how much they like it :)
